Welcome from the Director
The 707 Hub at Marquette University supports student founders, innovators, creators and entrepreneurs with mentoring resources, funding opportunities, creative outlets, makerspace trainings and various experiential learning endeavors.
The Hub is for students, by students. A place where any student from any background can connect, collide and collaborate.

Don't let my profile picture fool you, it's from my brother's wedding - you'll never see me in a tie.

Makerspace Interns
Austin Healey
Hello there! I’m Austin Healey, a 4th year mechanical engineering student and an intern here at the 707 Hub. I’m a huge nerd from Star Wars to different anime, and I love making things here at the hub that reflect that. This space is a great opportunity for students to complete projects for class or learn a new skill and express themselves through creation! From clothing customization and creation to 3D scanning and printing, I’m here to help. Welcome to the Hub!
Connor Schwarz
Hi, I’m Connor Schwarz, a junior studying mechanical engineering and also a member of of the Naturals, the all male a capella group here on campus. I love to rock climb here in Milwaukee in gyms or outside at places like Devils Lake. What I love about the 707 Hub is all it has to offer students. With craft materials, creative spaces, embroidery machine, heat presses, and my personal favorite, 3D printers, there is so much available for students to use to create awesome projects for class or personal use. My favorite thing is when these ideas and creations are actually made into full blown student businesses that have some amazing products. Hope to see you around in the Hub!
Will Squires
Hi my name is William! I am a Junior and I'm studying mechanical engineering. During my free time I love to design and make clothing apparel and sell them though my company "LazyBear Apparels" with the help of Student Made Marquette. If I'm not making clothes, my interests are F1, being outdoors and spending time with my friends.
Student Made Marquette Managers
Bella Drewek
Campus Manager
My name is Bella, I am a rising junior pursuing a major in psychology! In my free time, you will likely find me reading a book at the Brew, working out at the Rec Plex, or on a long run around the beautiful city of Milwaukee! The 707 Hub is my favorite study spot on campus. I love all of the resources that the hub has to offer, but my favorite is definitely the craft supplies! My friends and I tend to make a mess with the glitter a lot of the time…sorry Patrick!
Anne Naumann
Finance & Strategy Manager
My name is Anne, and I am a sophomore studying Accounting and Marketing! I love a lot about life, but in my opinion, nothing compares to a Marquette Basketball game, a colorful sunset, and a good chili cheese dog. (separately but would also be great together!) I love learning from my bright peers at the 707 Hub and growing in the entrepreneurial spirit!
Lily McLaughlin
Community Engagement Manager
My name is Lily, I am junior studying psychology! Aside from spending time at the 707 Hub, I enjoy hanging out with friends and taking walks to the lake. I thoroughly enjoy all the resources the 707 Hub provides for students to build on creative ideas!
Jonalie Zamora
Website Manager
My name is Jonalie, and I'm a double major in Marketing and Information Systems! My favorite things in life are birds, flowers, my friends and family, and my boyfriend Robert! I love to dabble in all sorts of artsy things, so it's not uncommon for me to carry a bag of arts supplies around campus (mostly yarn)! My favorite part of the 707 Hub is all the creative minds that pass through; you never run out of fun stories at the Hub!

ALUMNI
Below are links to a number of 707 Hub alumni. These student founders, innovators and entrepreneurs have either participated in the Brewed Ideas Challenge, The Dorm Fund, Mentoring, made use of our Makerspace,
or some combination thereof.
The Idea for the 707 Hub came from students Sam Wesley and Creighton Joyce who wanted to create a place to collaborate with students from different disciplines. To help achieve this, they applied for Marquette University's Explorer Challenge. The 707 Hub was designed by students for students. Read more of Sam and Creighton's story here!
